He's from Final Fantasy 9. DK's description is quite spoileriffic >.> because that's not something you learn about in the game for a long time and it's core behind a huge amount of character development.

Reason being that I don't own FF8 and never have. And I have no idea when I'll get it to be honest. ^^;

That's FF9, not FF8.

8 is the one with Squall o3o 9 is Vivi and Zidane o3o

Ah, well, I've never played that one either. XD Only ones I've played are Tactics, Tactics Advance, FF10 and FF12. :3 I have some of them on handhelds but I haven't played them much. ^^;

The SNES ones are the best. 7 is good but overrated, 8 is too complicated, 9 is cute but shallow, 11 and 14 are MMOs, 12 might as well have not happened because no one ever talks about it, and 13 goes completely the other way with the hype train but I've not seen anything that promises to give the same kind of experience as 4, 5, and 6. 10 comes closest, but honestly 6 needs more love than it gets.

I haven't gotten far in 12, but I like the skill tree they used, it allows for far more customization than some of the other games as far as I know (but you see which ones I've listed). I did play a good part of one of the other ones, its about the four heroes of light who live on a floating island, and are orphans but just didn't know they were until Cid tells them and says they were originally from the surface.

DK wants all the games but fat chance that will happen >.>,

The only FF game i've beaten was 9 xD i'm still working on 7 and 8.. ._., Oh and Tactics o3o
