Yay! I finally saw the completed picture! Google says rutabaga is a turnip/cabbage root and leaf plant thing. That it may have originated as a cross veggie between turnip and cabbage.

I think it is rotfrukt we mostly boil it together with potatoes and make a mash out of it.
