i am, overall, pro-pickled cucumber -nods-

My coworker Julie and I had a day where we were sitting there. . . and I looked at her and I said "You know, sometimes . . . I sneak out and drink the juice out of the pickle jar."

And she looked back at me and was like, "I pour mine into a cup."

I like pickled cucumbers --- you put your cucubumbers in a jar with some white vinegar and maybe some onions and seasonings and things and lit it sit in your fridge for a bit.

here in America, "pickles" are definitely pickled cucumbers.
