Congratulations, Awen!!!

I just slice my Brussels sprouts in half, toss 'em with some olive oil, then sprinkle a bit of salt and pepper on 'em before roasting 'em in the oven (350F for about 15 minutes). Simple, and they taste phenomenal

Thank you everyone <3 We've been together for nearly 6 years and I was beginning to think it would never happen ^_^;;

I prefer my sprouts steamed if I have a choice in the matter.

Well if you were getting impatient you could always have proposed yourself at an earlier point in time?
I eat apples and pears entirely except the twig that sticks out on top.

I wasn't exactly getting impatient, I just didn't think he would as neither of us are particularly religious...

Proposing is religious? Really?

Marriage is religious and not something we've ever seriously thought about, but I guess I shall have to look into things somewhat more now. And start saving... ^_^;;

Well couldn't marriages be purely legal and not religious?
Yeah weddings are ridiculously expensive xP
Default #1115
They can be, but they tend to be in quite grotty council buildings, and we cannot afford to wed at the moment. I'm hoping my business will take off more in the next year so I am able to save for a wedding I want rather than just one I could afford without getting into debt.

I'm actually going to wear traditional wedding kimono. I already have everything to wear that in my collection already and it gives me the perfect excuse to finally wear it, even if it is just the once. ^_^;;

It was and it wasn't... Time just seems to have flown ^_^;;

According to Google, for ovens, it's 180 C, or gas mark 4 if you have a gas oven.

Best of luck to you, Anwen. May you and your partner have many happy decades together :)
