she only ever wants to watch Law and Order. ono so when she's out here its Netflix with some crime drama ( i like those too anyway) and when she's not out here i switch to anime. or head to my room and watch anime off the kindle

Parents don't watch cartoons/anime...but Mom's stuff is still good. Dark Shadows, Stargate, etc.
Dad's stuff depends...he has a bit too much of an obsession with military stuff, but his 1960's stuff is cool. Rockets and Nuclear and trains and all. He's watched and enjoyed anime, but doesn't consider it that.

Well, technically, anime is just the Japanese word for cartoon. x'D But most people call that an anime over cartoon because its from Japan. :3

Which the later movies and episodes start to get really dark, Sailor Stars being basically the darkest one. Though you'd have to watch that with subs since they never brought it to the US. x'D

they are bringing it to the US with the Re-Dubs of the 1992 Anime. =p

I bought all 200 Episodes + 3 movie boxset. It was from Malaysia and had one of those stickers on it that proved they aren't the illegal bootlegs. (DK researched after someone told her they were illegal)

The first 2 seasons of the boxset are Sub Only (because america cut out like half the episodes) S and Super S are both Sub and Dub, then Stars is Sub only (because they were never originally dubbed)

I'd go for the new dubs.. except for the fact that the new voice actors SUCK D:< they're mimicing how the original cast did Usagi and Mamoru and fail at it. Kinda wish they'd talk normal like how Japan just .. talks normal =o=

I don't know why they would do that either, that just sounds stupid. =.=;

I liked it when the original english cast did it, but the new cast doing it just doesn't sound right ._.

Not only that but voice acting has improved since then when translating from Japanese. People will actually say the names correctly now, like Sakura for instance. In Cardcaptor they said it wrong in the English version, but for Naruto they say it correctly now that there is a bigger audience that watches the shows and stuff.
