Oh, so they are like those weird things that look like rubbery socks, but sturdier?

Didn't hurt, but I couldn't get the shoes on with the straps there.

I've never seen the things that look like rubbery socks...

I've used rubber socks before - for heavy water outdoors conditions.

I've seen pictures of silcone shoes that looked like squishy Crocs with backs, and I've seen surf sock type shoes, but not rubber socks yet.

As said, they're for keeping socks dry in conditions (caving) where wet socks can raw/chafed or tearing skin.

Ahhhhh. Now I understand.

It is spring here now. Yesterday the gulls came back.

mom and I swapped the pane in the front door from the glass one to the screen one. Now we don't have to worry if the door gets caught by the wind, as the wind will just pass through the screen.

We are all having spring things!

And the gulls are going minorly loopy outside here, sounds like.
