Last year around October the 3DS game Hatsune Miku DX came out for america. At the time I was playing my Pokemon Omega Sapphire game, but when my Miku game came in, I changed out the game. Old habits die hard, and just like an excited 7 year old, as I switched my games out, instead of putting Omega Sapphire back in its case, I just sat it down on one of my stands.

That's the last place I remember placing it. I remember seeing it there in December when the people came to paint the apartment doors. After that my memory of it is blank.

Well, at the beginning of the month I was able to buy the virtual console game of Pokemon Yellow. Time to go back to pokemon roots, retro pokemon what ever. It's been ages since I could play the original games and I wanted to start with Yellow! The Nostalgia. As I played Yellow, I wanted to check my pokemon bank, seeing as it needs to be paid on soon. I start looking for Pokemon Omega Sapphire, you need one of the 4 games to access the Bank, OS, AR, Y or X.. I have all 4 but OS was the one I played last. Go figure I couldn't find it.

It wasn't on the stand where I had last saw it in December. I started freaking out. I moved my stand, my chair my computer desk thingy (its really an old tv stand but it works..) I even partially took apart the heater. Nothing.

In my room I looked on my night stand, moved the night stand, moved my family of tiger plushies, dresser, dresser drawers..

That was 2ish weeks ago? Well This morning, I decided to CALMLY look for the game. I rearranged the bottom 2 shelves of my manga book stand. Rearranged my Tiger Plush Family. Then I saw the bag. The big trash bag that's been in my room since December. (DK Why didn't you through that bag out!?) it takes me a while to fill up the bag, and even now I can still fit more in there. its really just tissues and soda cans. A Salsa Conqueso jar maybe.. I don't toss out the bags until they are completely full. We're poor, trash bags are expensive damn it!

Well, I saw the bag and thought. "Hiro and Zeke were in my room, Hiro chased zeke up onto my night stand. Zeke had knocked down stuff onto my tigers.. what if he knocked the game into the trash bag after I brought the game to my room. I mean, they were painting the main door back in December, i must have got paranoid and brought my game and 3DS into my bedroom back then. Didn't want them to steal it.

I grab some grocery bags, and I slowly start to go thought the big trash bag. tissue, tissue, soda can, tissue.. piece by piece I slowly looked through the bag. Half way down I saw something. A slight shine of a metalic thing. It was small. I picked up my pace. There it was. Pokemon Omega Sapphire. 2 weeks or so of freaking out thinking it was stolen, and here it was in the trash bag. Zeke had knocked it down into it.

Seriously good thing it takes me forever to fill those big bags. I woulda lost the game forever!

I've been breaking myself out of the habit of leaving my games lay around like i use to. These 3/DS games aren't as big as the Game Boy Games.. Even then I'd lose those GB Games a lot too. As I got older, the habit would stop. But on occasion, I'd set the game down somewhere and forget about it. Seriously need to stop that.
