on LJ, you go to the profile of the page you want to track, and there's a link along the top to 'Track User,' and then you can keep track of it on the Notification page, you have to be signed in though. it's under 'Subscription Tracking,' and you can pick any or all of if it emails you or goes to your LJ inbox.

i think there are user threads that list all the items..... somewhere? but the kitties i got in the Crane Game.

Yay! I'm going to playing a lot more of the crane game. Those are just adorable!

I wish there was something about the new site that was somewhere other than FB and LJ. I can't hack either of those sites. The one drives me buggy, and the other one hurts my wimp eyes.

Have you tried the different free layouts on LJ, Tam? You can read all of your friend's posts in your own style then if you read them from your friend's page on not directly on their pages. I've got one that is pleasing to my eyes. Plus Mek and I tried to pick a layout for the UF hangout that wasn't hard on the eyes. Is that one too hard for your eyes?

I don't get LJ and have never really visited it, but many of my friends from UF are on Aywas and I'm on FB. I have to have a presence on FB to help my business, otherwise I probably wouldn't bother with it either.

Yes, I'm posting around to try to collect eggs. Can't preview all of the event items in the shop, so I'm not sure what I really want yet, but it's fun gathering eggs and seeing all of the various messages that pop up when you collect them.

Though I do wonder why you can't preview them...I just saw tentacles and was like MUST GET EGGIES NAO!

For example, when I go to the event section of the shop and click on the feral furball section, I can preview everything except what looks like a head and what looks like the cylinder thing with tentacles. When I click on those icons, nothing shows up on my avi.

I don't know if it's an issue of my avi covering them or it's my OS (Windows 7 Ultimate) or my browser (PaleMoon 26.1.1) or something else.

When I get to my office, I'm going to try again on my MacBook Pro (Mavericks OS) and see if that makes any kind of difference.

There have been other things I couldn't preview in the past too, but I can't remember what they were now. It's one of the reasons I haven't been very active over here. I love to play dress up with avis, but it's really hard to do that here when I can't figure out the names of items or preview them before purchasing them.

I just want to add that I can appreciate the magnitude of time it takes to program a site and how hard it must be with only 2 programmers to make big changes. I can dream of a shop and avi preview system like the one we used to have at UniFaction, but I realize that it would take a massive amount of time to implement such a thing here and there very well could be higher priorities.

What is Pale Moon? I know it's a browser apparently, but other than that?

I would point fingers at your browser. PaleMoon's description on its homepage doesn't inspire great confidence in me as a developer.

What do you mean by can't preview in shops? That should be working.
