Worry less about that, because really I am super amazed that Zeus is so lovely with kids. A lot of times they love them.

also. my dog will 100% hump the baby if given the chance.

She humps Digit all the time, endlessly. She humps stuffed animals.

And one time my friend brought over their 1 year old who was just learning to hold themselves up on the edge of the table. . . she humped that poor baby.

Reminds me of my cat, who humps my stuffed cat, my leg, my pillows, etc.

I'll admit, our animals don't hump things much. Then again, our last Husky was a bit of an uncontrollable "chase and catch" fellow. And that can be scary - to have a pet that you have to keep an eye on to keep them from hunting.

(Still loved him, though.)

I've never owned a dog. Or even a cat. My mother has always been allergic. But now that I'm on my own I've been seriously considering it. I'm just not sure what breed to get. I would LOVE a husky, but I'm afraid the Texas heat would just be too brutal for it.

I was thinking maybe a German shepherd. They're gorgeous, and I hear they're super smart.

mine is just a mutt. I got her on craiglist!

I wouldn't trade her for the world though
