I'm frankly more afraid of my dogs getting diseases from them, than myself. And ticks. Ticks suck. Ticks can take a long walk off a short pier into boiling water.

I got bit by a mosquito once. It was at the point I realized I probably had some allergy to it, cuz I swelled up huge from one tiny little mark. I decided to glaze my skin with laminate after that, now they just slide right off! Only downside is... now I'm a MONSTER! A MONSTEEEEERRR!!

Pretty much EVERYONE is allergic to mosquito bites -- the itchy bump is an allergic reaction.

That said, I'm more allergic than most, because mine weep and ooze. @.@ It's RIDICULOUSLY itchy, too.

We get those everywhere here in Idaho during summer. I've heard they actually eat mosquitoes. We call them Mosquito Eaters.
