Oh dear, those high fevers sound scary D:

What were these fevers from?

My away from the computer frames are metal, with plastic arms! Same style as one of my friends here has, but a different colour.

The fevers were scary at the time. I had red measles when I was twelve, while my family (six kids and two adults at the time) were living in a tent trailer in the Penticton area of BC. There was no way for our parents to keep us in the dim light, so my eyes were so fried that for awhile I couldn't even see in sunlight.

Then, in my early twenties, I got chicken pox while volunteering at a daycare. I was living alone,and so delirious that I was hallucinating and waking up in places I didn't remember going to. So I started laying in my friends' backyard while they worked in the garden. It was bright out there, but they couldn't help me more other than making sure I had fluids, because they were elderly and the gentleman hadn't had chicken pox. It took me about a year after the chicken pox to stop sleeping nearly every time I sat down.

I can probably be considered legally blind without my glasses. ^^;

Those fevers are really scary D:

I can walk without my glasses, but when someone says hi to me and I don't know them too well, I'll have no clue who they are XD

so I've been pretty busy the past few days... working on my boyfriend's Christmas gift. I'm nearly done with the first part... Image under the spoiler :)

I normally don't notice the thickness of glasses. After I took them off a moment ago to see, I realized they were a lot thicker than I'd thought X'D.

Oh man. Is it hard to clean glasses that you can't see without?

What happened was that I had my pet air plant, Bob, soaking in a cup of water on the counter, which I did every few days because that seemed to work best. Dad came home, saw the cup on the counter, thought it was just holding water, and dumped the whole thing down the drain. I came upstairs to bring something to the kitchen, and to get Bob out of the water and the excess dried off so I could put him back in his wine glass home, and the cup was empty. I asked Dad where my plant was, and he got this "Oh, crap" look on his face as he realized what he'd done.

Poor Bob. :(

I use special lenses, so my glasses aren't bottle-bottoms xD but they would be.
