Default #5217
Definitely not the hats and blanket. And while I would love to try doing scales on the dragons eventually, they wouldn't be very cuddly...
Default #5218
XD A steel scale blanket. That would be...

...

Heavy.
Default #5219
Well, the scales are aluminum actually, so a little lighter than steel. But yeah...still very heavy. Lol
Default #5220
Ah, yeah, that'd be a bit lighter. :P I have steel scales on a shelf behind me, so that's what I was thinking of.
Default #5221
Not gonna lie...I kind of want to make one now...
>.>
Default #5222
That's a lot of scale. o.o

Would be super cool! But wow.
Default #5223
It would definitely be expensive to make.
But so pretty!
A "dragon hide" blanket!
Default #5224
It would be! On both accounts. :O

My scale vest was like $100 worth of scales, a blanket would be, uh, a lot more. XD
Default #5225
Ouch...but yeah....say hello to my 10 year $1000 project..
I mean, depending on length, my scaled gloves can cost between $12 and $40 approximately for scales.
So yeah...lots of money for scales!
XD
Default #5226
i imagine . . . it would be the warmest blanket ever.

Default #5227
It very likely would.
And the shiniest one too!
Default #5228
Would be the coldest blanket ever when first getting under it. Unless it was out in the sun.
Default #5229
Surprisingly, it probably wouldn't be any colder than a regular blanket (if the gloves are any indication) because the yarn that holds it together would completely cover the back of the scales.
Default #5230
Oh, yeah, that's true. I was thinking about scales with rings holding them together (like the scales I have).
Default #5231
Yeah, if it was normal scalemaille it would be colder (and a good deal heavier) than knitted scalemaille.
Brrrr!
Default #5232
you'd only need that blanket at night. . . it would also probably hold you in place
