I'm not much of a fan of Christmas or New Years or all that stuff. It just seems like such useless activity, all the stuff we all are supposed to do to feel wonderful. But in reality its just another day, doesn't mean anything to me.

eh, for some people it's an issue of trying to either remember a memory of their youths or trying to fabricate memories wholesale through generic social experiences

I hate how commercial it all is these days. Used to be a time when it was about spending time with loved ones and celebrating life, etc.

Don't get me wrong- I love getting presents. I just wish that it didn't revolve entirely around that.

In books Christmas is full of jigsaw puzzles and cocoa and family gatherings.
