I'm doing a test-run for sizing up a pepakura pattern I have to see if just doubling it would be big enough for my noggin. if it is, then I'll have to get poster board for the piece I'm working on.

Pepakura? *Searches* A designing thing..? I guess you're making something hard (as in material)?

Not in this case. If I can get it to work, I'll be making the main helmet out of poster board so it won't collapse under its own weight or get squished too badly during travel.

I'm building a helmet of Bayverse Optimus Prime, and I'll be wearing it with a suit jacket and dress slacks. and either a bow tie or a neck tie. :3

It's gonna be complicated, for sure. If it gets to being August and I haven't made as much progress as I'd like, I'll just make the much simpler 1984 cartoon version.

Yeah. More for the inside of the head, so it fits over my head when I'm wearing a wig cap (My hair's too long to just put the head on over mine anymore, lol). I have a jerry-rigged wig head that I made for a wig I scratch-built that's the right dimensions, so if my first trial run of the new head is too small, I'll have to adjust stuff so it fits, and looks right.

I hadn't thought about how the inside might be :O -- even though that's very important.
