honestly, I think I may end up with dentures before I turn 40. My teeth are that bad.

-nods- I wonder if I will myself.

I read something about how too many antivirals as a child could cause loss of tooth enamel. I was always given them as a kid and I think that has a lot to do with it. I know that I also neglected taking care of my teeth, but I don't think the enamel should be as thin as it is on mine. I'll probably have to get dentures before I'm 40 as well, but as it stands, my income won't cover that cost unless I go to school. Ironically, I'd like to become a dental hygienist. Neglecting my teeth has inspired me to take better care of them, and I think that by sharing my personal story I could help many people realize the importance of good oral hygiene.

A combination of lack of insurance, being homeless for six months, a severe dislike of the dentist's office, thin enamels since I was a little kid, circumstances, and just general laziness means I'm not exactly a shining example myself.
I use They/Them pronouns.

In the early hours of the day, the band stops playing and packs up their instruments, and the bouncers begin gently ushering stragglers out of the building.

Once everyone who isn't staff has left, the doors to the Salty Griffin Club and Bar are closed. Everything gets taken down and carefully packed up, and in a matter of hours, the building is empty once more.

The doors bear a new sign now, which reads "Thanks for the memories. See you next year!", and with that, the Salty Griffin shuts down for the year, waiting for the next Icky Sticky Season of Love, when they'll return, with more boxes fit for destruction, and even more pillows and blankets for the mountain.
I use They/Them pronouns.
