onigiri is actually pretty easy to make...

i have a cat onigiri press i got off candysan. i have yet to use it, but it's dang cute! came with a nori punch for the details (face, tail, stripes if you wanted a tabby onigiri) i'm not a fan of seaweed, but i think in those small amounts, i could handle it.

There was a period of time I was semi-obsessed with onigiri so I've made a bunch of them xD! I don't like cleaning presses so most of the time I just take a bowl, put a saran wrap in the bowl, put rice in the saran wrap, then stuffing, then more rice, then I take the saran wrap and wrap it up to form whatever shape I want, then finally take out the rice and wrap some seaweed around it.

xD simple simple. but if you're just going to eat it, then yes. definitely the way to go. i think presses/molds are more for people to show off the cutesy things idk i have no one to impress...sooooo xD

I have triangle molds so it isn't really cutesy.
I distinctly remember staring at cutesy molds on amazon for a while though. Seems like fun to eat xD
