xD pillow forts were my jam as a kid...that a mattress slides

*sets up some mattress slides in the opposite corner of the forts

I never got to do fun stuff like pillow forts and matress slides as a kid.

But sometimes my dad would bury me under my stuffed animals (usually to help me hide from my siblings during hide-and-seek)

LOL! nice ^__^ my brother and i would make mattress slides at one of our childhood homes. we'd take my bed and then prop his bed up against the wall. was so much fun xD after we moved, our apartment complex was by a creek, so we'd make real forts by the water.

Ugh. I have been so tired lately...

I've just been perpetually exhausted lately.

Yeah...that's a more accurate way of saying how I feel too actually.
I actually thought I'd get to sleep early last night, but it was so freaking hot in my apartment last night, that I didn't get to sleep until probably close to 4am.

I blame the heat mostly. Possibly other reasons too...but mostly this god-awful heat.

oh heat is the worst >___< i pass out from heat exhaustion and wake up sweating :(

I live on the third floor of an old brick building and with south and west facing windows so in addition to the bricks absorbing heat, I also have no shade and I get the hot afternoon sun, although I am putting up the last curtains tonight.
