Default Feed the Beast! #1

Once upon a time people lived happily and peacefully in a kingdom ruled by a wise monarch. Everyone had enough to eat, warm clothes for the winter, a roof over their head, and free wi-fi. Uh, wait. *mumbles to someone in the background* Did they already have wi-fi in the Middle Ages? *clears throat* Ahem. Anyway. As the legend goes, it was an idyllic place for everyone to dwell in. Until one day...

The beast trampled through the kingdom, sacked each village, ate most crops and scorched the remaining ones. Its hunger seemed insatiable and its thick scales and fiery breath defended the beast against the knights' swords. Many set out for a quest to frighten the wild one away, but in the end even the bravest among all heroes had failed. Finally the monarch made a decision. If it was not possible to kill the fiend, maybe together the stalwart villagers could tame it. Feed its appetite. The monarch offered delicious foods, and the beast agreed. Peace returned to the land. Fruitful earth brought great harvests, the kingdom grew stronger and wealthier than ever before. The beast was still there, dwelling in a dark forest, but people made sure to keep it well fed all the time. Sometimes the beast would grow bored of a certain food, and then everyone helped to find new treats. As the years went by, rumor spread that feeding the beast would bring good luck, and indeed several farmers who often offered food gained notable wealth.

Rules
Uh-oh. A hungry beast roams Trisphee! Quick, offer something to eat!
  • Creativity is encouraged. You'll never know, maybe you just found the beast's next favorite meal.
  • The beast is picky. At one time it may eat crunchy bacon, yet refuse crispy bacon. There is however always a logical pattern to its desires.
  • The beast is fickle. Sometimes its taste might change all of a sudden, and whatever it ate before may no longer satisfy its new cravings. The first thing it accepts shall serve as a hint. Can you figure out what the beast wants?
  • If you feed the beast, please make it sure what exactly you want to feed. Bold, italics or colored font will do just fine. Example: "Here is a slice of pizza for the beast."
  • At least 3 other people have to try and feed the beast before you can play again. It doesn't matter whether the beast accepts what they bring, or not.
  • You earn a point for each thing the beast actually eats, whether you discovered the pattern or were just lucky. For your first successfully fed meal you also get a Silver Coin.
  • After each round whoever has the most points wins 5 Silver Coins. Second place earns you 4 Silver Coins, and third is worth 3 Silver Coins.

"Your majesty!", the scout exclaimed. "The beast is roaming free again in the village and it has just eaten a corn on the cob. But it still looks hungry. If we bring more food, I'm sure the beast will return to the forest without hurting anyone."

Er, sorry, all I've got left is this soup I didn't finish from dinner.
STONEWALL WAS A RIOT

Default #16
The beast wolfs down the homemade cream corn, but then its taste for vegetables seems satisfied, because it runs after the chocolate ice cream. Why it eats green bean casserole after dessert, remains a mystery. Maybe it dines backwards, because then it gobbles the clam chowder, which would've been entree to other folks. The garlic bread works perfectly as a side dish.

But what's that? The beast turns its head away from polenta! And neither it seems interested in jellybeans.

It turns around to eat a bit of corn chowder.

And then it only wrinkles its nose at the soup. Guess you have to finish yourself.
