Ew. I lived in a house that was yellow once. Well, it was more like an off white I guess. Like buttermilk... I don't know how I would react to living in one that was actually bright ass yellow. *eyetwitch*

But as an artist, I have to say that I value all colors... And I do use yellow a lot, mainly for mixing other colors, but I should stop bad mouthing it. :x

GOLD is better then yellow. Orange is also ok.

Now that you mention it, I am unsure exactly how much I may use yellow. . .
Buttermilk would be ok I guess. . .

Purple would be interesting to say the least. maybe at least as a trim. It was originally a cloudy sky gray blue. Black would make the whole house really warm though. D: (Black absorbs light, white reflects) so I was maybe thinking of some sort of pastel-ness
