red first = confirmed location right?

if red red red red = 2 color, 2 location and yellow red red yellow = 3 color, 0 location, then second location of red is the last one, since red second and third = 0 location.

So, if -
red yellow purple red
4 color, 2 location

those 2 locations confirmed have to be red(first and last). How then is:

red purple yellow red = 4 color, 1 location?

Red blue yellow red

2 color, 0 location

Oh dear, no, that third one was supposed to be 1 location, not 0 location. I'll stop trying to use the num pad to type, and also slow down and doublecheck. You would have gotten it, if I hadn't screwed up, so....
