Scythe - nah, not supposed to be a short novel... it's acutally a time travel romance novel, and romance novels are usually around 60k-100k (i looked it up)

my character goes from the present, where her ex belittles her because she's part of The Guild (my version of an SCA type group) and she does reenactment fighting with a staff and sword at Ren Faire type events.... and then she ends up in the past (1275) and the guy she (spoiler: ends up falling in love with)... well, he looks like and has a name similar to the guy in her present.

i do plan on eventually some day maybe publishing it. when i do finish it i'll post a link!

Ah gotcha, never read a romance novel. Sounds interesting, like something you'd see in an anime haha. Wouldn't be surprised if one pops up.

i used to read romance novels in high school and college. pretty much stopped when i got engaged 24 years ago (and have been married for 23 years) XD
