I think it's funny how this entire page is about eggs ^^ quite an egg-scellent topic XD

I want to try making deviled eggs now, but I have no eggs on hand because I rarely eat them. I might pick up some so I can attempt salmon cakes as well. I've decided I like to cook. My skill with it does vary, though.

I'm at the point where I need to learn cooking as a life skill but I don't enjoy it, at all.
Maybe I should learn cooking the stuff I like though instead of our traditional regular meals.

Yeah, cooking is way better if you cook what you want to. I never cook for anyone but myself... like, I'm willing to share, but I'm not going to make what I won't eat. Just makes it a boring chore.

I don't actually have anyone else to really cook for at all, so I always just cook what I like. XD
But I prefer baking. Making bread is so therapeutic to me...

Absolutely, Sternum! You should always start learning the stuff you enjoy. Maybe then later you get curious about how a traditional meal works, maybe you won't, and both is okay. However if you already start with something you don't even want to eat, it will never be anything but a tedious chore.

mom taught the sibling and me when we were young how to cook, and from the basics, we've each developed our own styles and preferences.

GUYS! I just found out I only work the o e hob on Halloween, so I don't actually need to finish my costume because I was making it to wear at the job I'm not working that nigt!
Part of me is relieved because it's still not finished, but also sad because I was actually putting effort into it.

Now you must find a party to go :P

I don't do parties. I don't handle large (or even small) crowds of strangers very well. I can't even go to the movie theater unless I have a friend to sit on either side of me or if the theater is empty enough to have empty seats around me.

Talk of actual cooking and here I am eating instant rice out of the bag. Proper cooked dinner tomorrow.

The problem with not having a dog (or a dog small enough to get between this table and the couch) is that I have to clean the dropped rice grains myself.

I am on the fence on eggs. I like them sometimes.

Yup, I should convince my mom. I really want to start with wonderpot recipes, like pasta. Instead I'm pulled to pitch into whatever my mom happens to be making, which I'm rarely interested in I even started uninteresting, learning to make tea when I never ever take tea lol.
