I'm the Municipal Liaison for our local NaNoWriMo and along with coordinating local activities, I help other MLs with their projects.

Then I'm also on a committee to make sure that a music festival north of us is organized and coordinated well. I was at a meeting for that today and then was setting up a Trello board for our committee. :)

Boise has Treefort Music Fest but I haven't gone since the first year. . . it has just gotten to expensive!

In November, I can be a little too busy, but I love it.

The first year they had my two favorite bands as headliners so it was totally worth the $79 to go!! But now tickets are like $150+ x.x;;;;; I understand that for the price and the amount of bands you could see, it is totally worth it, but. . . unless I know who the bands are I don't really want to go!

I did look it up.

Our music festival is (I think) $80 for the weekend. I've been volunteering so many years, I forget the cost. But it's folk, old time traditional, celtic, blues, new folk, bluegrass, cajun and other types of world music. It's great fun with 3 stages going, kids activities, teen activities, music workshops, arts workshops, artisans selling their wares and great food. But more than that, it's like a huge family reunion meeting up with all the festival family every year.

That sounds really fun! And a decent price haha.

In one of the groups I am in there is a joke that when you volunteer (or get Voluntold) to do too many things they give you a decorated paper plate since you have "too much on your plate." You may be getting close to needing one.
