I dunno, the 70s seemed even stranger. XD My ex-bf grew up in the 70s and some of the kids shows from back then that he showed me were... well, I gotta wonder what some of these people were smoking back then, lol.



@Claire Yessss, such nostalgia, watching shows like Recess and Doug and Pepper Ann and Winnie the Pooh on my tiny TV I had in my bedroom.

You know, I did not remember that show at all, but after like 5 seconds of that intro, I'm 100% sure I did watch Adventures in Wonderland. lol.

I actually thought for years I had imagined it... until YouTube came around and I found uploads of it and it all came back to me, haha.

I remember this, in a very, very vague sort of way. I tried to find some of the old Disney song montages but it appears even Youtube can't get those.

I remember Adventures in Wonderland. I had a VHS tape of it, had like 3 episodes on it. I had a crush on the Mad Hatter XD

Awwww haha. XD I used to love Alice in Wonderland stuff.... I remember I would sit in front of my mirror and pretend I could jump into it and go to Wonderland like Alice could.

ok, not 90s nostalgia so much, but have you ever seen Miyuki-Chan In Wonderland?

It's like this bizarre half hour of an Alice like charachter in wonderland, and all the rest of the charachters are sexy bdsm women for some reason?

-_- i have it on dvd because it was three dollars and siad "CLAMP" on it... it's.... really weird but worth watching if you're alice obsessed.

have you read the original books? I read wonderland, but not through the looking glass.

So when I was a kid I had read story (I wish I could remember the name of it) about a girl that was pulled through a puddle of water by an evil faerie and they kept her captive until the hero of the story came and saved her. It was actually kind of a horrifying concept to be honest, but in my mind that meant pools of water could be portals to the faerie realm... so I would submerge myself into the bathtub until I got headaches from lack of oxygen just really hoping that I would get pulled through.

@Claire I've heard of it, and I might've watched it before cause I was also a CLAMP fan when I was younger, but I dunno if I ever ended up finding it or not.

I've read the original first book and I think Through the Looking Glass, but I'm not sure cause it was a while ago. I know they are available for free to read online so maybe I ought to revist them sometime.

@Mekatra Yeah, gotta agree that it's lucky you didn't drown. :o Sounds like something I would have done though, lol. I was a really weird kid.... (and teen and adult)

And now I've been watching Adventures in Wonderland on Youtube. I had only seen three episodes, so I am watching the ones I never did get to see from back then.

It's kind of a miracle that I didn't die as a child from all the stupid crap I did
