I'm sorry, I never got into mecha manga or anime. >.<

The Brave series is the only mecha anime series of shows that I've ever been able to get into. I have a thing for sentient robots...

I liked Escaflowne and Full Metal Panic, but since both of those had heavy emphasis on story elements outside of the mecha I'm not sure they count.

Someone convince me to finish this project I am working on. >.<

Most of the Brave series has the robots as the main characters, though the human companions are pretty crucial to the story, too.

Sounds interesting! I don't watch much TV anymore, but maybe I'll give it a shot sometime.

I would suggest starting with my personal favorite: Brave Police J-Decker, but here's a list of all the stuff on Kiss Anime that is currently available.

I feel like I've seen this before. It's fairly old too, so it's possible. I'll watch an episode or two, that will let me know if I want to watch more. Thanks for the link!

So I got the doll body done. I still have to do detail work, but I did get the main structural stuff done.

My roommates cosplay, and I did once but it's just not something I really have a lot of enthusiasm for anymore. The last one we did was kind of miserable because I realized how out of the loop I am since most of the anime and video games I like are older, so not many people still even talk about them.
