Actually played a little today, and chased a zigzagoon around for a bit, since the pokemon seem to have gotten harder to catch.

I'm not sure if I like the newest update... I'm a little bit bummed about some of the new Pokemon only being available via raids :( That said it's nice to have new Pokemon to catch again...

Raids mean I can't do it, unless it's a really low CP one....like a legendary? Nope. Time to just walk away.

I assume I'll eventually get there.

Got another cyndaquil today, which seemed odd since it was clear but pretty damp out. Started raining later and I got accosted with oddish and bellsprout. Picked up a couple new guys though.

My partner and I have been pretty lucky with getting the legendarys so far but having a 3 year old in tow makes it even harder at this time of year... I'm just glad we have a month to try for Groudon this time instead of the 2 weeks we got for Ho-oh...

I tried a legendary once, and couldn't dent the thing. I'm not sure how to group up with people, and I'm too shy to approach people who look like they're playing so I'm not sure what to really do. If I can't take something down on my own then it's not something I'm going to get.

I just realized that zigzagoon is raccoon based, so yeah. Zig-zag raccoon.

Passing the nearby gym I saw that it had only one dying tangela in it so after we got home (in the car) I walked back the several blocks to go get it.

I got super lucky and managed to catch a Ralts at the weekend on the way to my mother-in-laws ^_^ And today my game glitched and took me for a walk over to the local pokestop so I actually got to spin it from my sofa for the first time! ^_^ Oh... And I had a Dratini hatch today too ^_^ I suspect my bad luck will be back with a vengeance tomorrow though ^_^;;

Oh man...hadn't been playing for a while and damn, the updates are nice, though annoying with the weather update thing since literally every time I open PoGo currently, it pops up with the "extreme weather" notification. It's snowing. Not really blizzard conditions either, just a light to steady snowfall...

I have the warning as well. Usually it's a little umbrella that tells you which pokemon will be hanging out and getting your more bonus stuff, but not today. We had a snowfall and the city broke.

Lol. The city broke? Like irl? Do you live in an area that doesn't get much snow?

Oh gods they've added more Pokemon from Gen 3 and we can finally get Delibird! ^_^

That was a Delibirdate timing decision on their part.

North Vancouver, West coast. It gets snow on occasion, but no one knows how to deal with it well, and the ice and all the hills everywhere wreak havoc on everything. It's the wet, heavy, damp stuff too that gets under my car and lifts it off the road so I get beached, rather than pushing it out of the way.

On the plus side, it's the best snow for making things. :)
