I'm so happy my last semester didn't have any word counts. Just a page estimate for one class. Word counts are so stressful.

word counts make people type up a bunch of useless stuff instead of getting to the point. they make no sense, writing should be clear and concise. learning how to write with word counts can turn you into a lousy writer.

I did a lot better on those papers than an other I had to do. ' w'c Makes for better papers for the teachers to grade too.

we didn't have word counts in my college just page counts.

So then you could you know make the period a font size larger and add an extra space here and there to stretch things out

Word counts just make you have to get creative with your wording is all >.<

-_- I swear that my psychology teachers measure margins to make sure we're completely using the APA style.

I know mine did! She had a cut out of what the margins should be and if yours was too small she put a box where the margins should be.

ohhhhh my god that's scary. i just got a mark that said how big the margin should have been lmao.

My lit professor would just knock points off and tell you that you weren't clever.

Why do I keep getting "First Christmas in Forever" stuck in my head from Olaf's Frozen Adventure? ;_;

My school combated that by dictating margins, line spacing, and font size.

I countered by using a wider font in the same size (Bookman Old Style is still professional-looking but it's quite a bit wider than Times New Roman).

I'm a lousy writer that always goes over the max word and page counts because of how much I restate things in many different ways, with phrases like: "I restate things in many different ways and over-explain what I don't need to."

If we balance out you and me we might get a decent essay out the door!

And you'd probably still only get a 90% on it because university is a sadistic gauntlet

I dunno, I got a 100% on my Literature and Composition final.

I get the feeling I once read a book that went something along the lines of:
1. Kid asks a question
2. Someone replies saying that if you wave your hand in front of your face you can see every drop of a water fountain

I tried it a lot then gave up because it never worked.

Still, I wonder what book that was?
