PA is where they hold Pennsic War. It is a huge event in the Society for Creative Anachronism. It's 17 days long <3 I dream of someday attending.

I was born in Meadville area, but dragged down to live in South Carolina when I was young. I moved back up here about a year and a half ago. Most of my family is up here, so it is nice to see them.

Not sure i know of the area. Yeah it is good to be around family. I realized that when I moved.
Plus with no friends and people out there I knew, It was kinda hard.

Yeah. Life is too rough to be going about it all by yourself.
Even trying to have your own house is near impossible unless you have a really good job. T_T

Yyyyyyeaaaah, current problem w Arizona is it seems more conservative than I'm comfortable with. And one of my housemates will be ROTC. Well, guess we'll see.

IIRC, the SCA is pretty big in PA. I wanted to get involved while I was there, but just didn't have time.

The SCA is fairly active around here too. That's one big thing that's going to suck when we move is leaving my canton. T_T There's no group out where we're going.

One of the great things about the SCA is that they're a very non-obligatory organization. If you can only come play once a month, no one will give you any grief about it. (okay mostly no one, every group has a couple jerks)
