My daily awesome is getting off after only 2 hours of work! I will take this as a blessing in disguise and take advantage of the time I have available now to do stuff I have been wanting/needing to do for days and weeks now

I almost dropped a cheeto on the floor, but I caught it in time. :^)

My mom and I made stew last night! And it is lovely stew. :) The second best I have ever made!

Yesterday's awesome:

Driving home from class in cruddy weather and the truck in front of me tossed a couple nasty pebbles hard at my windshield. It did not crack. Yes!

I don't know if I'd consider mine super awesome, but after living in my apartment for the last...I dunno maybe 5 or 6 years, I am finally looking into actually getting and putting up shelves for better organization. (Yes, it is allowed.) I have plaster walls, which makes it tricky, but I want to maybe roughly sketch out my walls to figure out where I want them and what they would be used for. And then try to find my wall studs and adjust shelving plans accordingly when necessary.
I also have some art I need to hang up and some hooks I want to get and install on my doors (for coats, etc), and maybe some small nails or hooks to organize my knitting looms better.

All part of my 2018 plan to improve my life some. Learning to appreciate and better utilize my tiny apartment and it's lack of much wall and storage space.

Actually woke up with energy today. For the first time in MONTHS!
Seriously, I got up and actually had the energy to get out of bed with enough time to take a shower and work on a loom knitting project! And I almost had time to re-paint my nails except I waited too long for that, but will probably work on them tonight after work.

I...binged watched BotWG after a year of not watching kdramas. It's awesome because I haven't felt this vehemently angry er... uh passionate about a drama in years. Gotta keep this on a positive note :^)) Guess I'm not that dead inside yet. yay

My daily awesome so far is combined with my daily ouch. A very nice woman IMMEDIATELY stopped and offered me a ride anywhere I needed to go after I slipped on ice and fell hard.

Better awesome: My turtle shaped soap dish supposedly has been delivered! Will find out for sure in approximately 30-40 minutes...

I cleared the space between my bed and the electrical panel on the wall. It's not a fire hazard anymore!

Ranked 2nd place for the in-class quiz. Gotta redeem myself from the last one. WHO DOES A POP QUIZ ON LITERALLY THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

But seriously, pre-tests to evaluate the students' history are reasonably common.

My geology teacher set up a quiz that was just a cross section of a shore line and said "label everything you can think of!" Whoever had the most correct labels (minus incorrect ones) determined what number was 100%. I think I had 29 and 100% was 32-34 or so. I was top student that year, too! I still want to know what that other person found the label.
