You know for someone that doesn't like children I find myself "awwww"ing over yours a lot

I feel bad because I'm like the only person who doesn't "awww" over Winter.

I mean, I don't like babies and kids and teens (15-17 and under basically) in general. I don't hate her though. It's just a more neutral "meh".

ok, not disliking her (I mean dislike babies + liking her because it's Glitch's = neutral I guess) is good enough xD

I will say, while I do strongly dislike children and babies, I am never mean to them. I interact with them if they talk to me and stuff. I just don't like it.

Lol. It's different when it's your own. Or so I hear. From literally everyone when I say I don't want babies. Ever.
(Of course in my case, I don't want a relationship either, so...)

my little nephew Ryder was born in November 2016. we visited my brother and sister-inlaw when Ryder was about a month old, and my sister-inlaw said that i just looked really awkward holding him. before my kids were born: i never babysat when i was a teenager, i never ogled babies, never wanted to hold them; it just wasn't a thing for me. so, yeah, i guess it is different when they're your own.

although, to be honest, my kids are good kids, so there is that.

and really, though, there's nothing wrong if you don't want kids. they're not your thing.

Please tell that to my entire family. I'm sick of trying to explain it to them.

The absolute worst is when even my single, never married aunts get all "awww, you'll meet someone one day" and give me those pity looks when they hear I'm still single.
