Indeed, there are. That's part of why I try so hard to get to one specific convention each year. the other part is 'cause it's a frickin' awesome Transformers convention that isn't just a Hasbro Product show.

The farthest I've traveled for a convention was from central CA to southern CA. Though I'd love to go to an out of state con one of these days. Maybe in a couple years if I plan right.

The only in-state con I went to was when I lived in south central Iowa and went to Eastern Iowa. Closest con to me is technically out-of-state, and an hour away...

i wish i could go to a con...never been :( never been to a concert either (i guess technically i've been to one, where i saw my high school's principal's son's band play. they were really awesome but idk if a local concert counts as going to one xD and the whole experience was shit. found out that i was a "pity-invite" and my so-called friends didn't even want me there...)

awww...thanks, tammers. i finally had enough for the gloves and decided for now that i'll just use my fuzzy legs until i get enough saved up for the socks and boots for the set xD but it seemed very st patrick's day-ish, so i went with it.

Oh right, that's coming up! I was growling about not having enough to buy you the socks or boots again. LOL
