Den got better medical care than I did the time I slipped and gashed myself a bleeder. I just wrapped mine and then SAT on it. It was on the meaty part of my palm, IIRR.

if the cut would've stopped bleeding on its own, or would've slowed down in its bleeding whenever I let off pressure and tried to put a bandaid on it, I wouldn't have bothered going to the ER. almost 45 minutes after the incident, it was still bleeding when the nurse took off the bandaid I'd put on to keep pressure on it so I could drive to the ER without messing up the inside of my car.

Yeah. You have more sense than me. Mine was bleeding that gleefully too. It was most of the day later that I finally put on the pressure.

dunno about more sense, I was just pissed off at myself for making a dumb error like that.

in better news, i got 2 bags of grain-free cat food for $1.80 instead of 18 for a 14-lb bag xD big lots was clearance-ing a bunch one kind of dog food and cat food. my sister bought a different bag of cat food for about $4 instead of 14 for a 14-lb bag and all the dog food for $3 a bag instead of 6 for a 5-lb bag.

Well, I've emailed Dad a link for his next Amazon spree, for a pair of Kevlar gloves, so I'll be better protected for the next time I start working on carving projects.
