You look very friendly for a NOPE fairy xD
Default #114
As long as she distributes cinnamon and honey butter, the NOPE fairy is free to look however she wants to.

And 5th edition rocks! You should definitely try it once you get a chance.

NOPE Fairy is just all about the safety, what could be friendlier?
Default #116
It depends on whether it's "don't touch the hot stove" or "don't touch the hot jello"
Default #117
what, you can't touch either
Default #118
Yeah, but one is risky and dumb while the other is risky and fun.
Default #119
Um. Hot Jello mustn't be touched without asking?

5e is more user-friendly, imo. I can actually figure out HP at a glance, because each class intro has a section that tells you what die to use, what your starting HP is, and how to calculate for higher levels. I struggled with that in past versions.

I point-buy when I make Pathfinder characters, but unless I'm told specifically to do so for D&D, I prefer rolling up stats. When I roll stats, I roll 4d6, ignore 1s, use the three highest. it gives a good variety of scores, but sometimes the dice bite you in the ass.
I use They/Them pronouns.

Like the time I wound up with a great roll set except for one 7. (We didn't ignore the 1s). I have a charismatic and intelligent bard, but he was a little on the foolish side.

I'm a curmudgeonly 3.5 holdout, and refuse to play anything else. (Well, if *I'm* running things, that is.) By now, I can pretty much run 3.5 from my head, with a few check-ups on some things, but I'm just as likely to make stuff up on the fly. Rule 0!

*dyes the butter blue and innocently whistles*

2020 may be a difficult year, but I know we can all get through it together.
Just believe in yourselves.

You'd probably like Pathfinder v1 (they're launching v2 soon), which is very similar to DnD 3.5...

It's the same rule set. D20 3.5 core rules were open license, but I think some of content changed.

I bought three more eggs. They were all ribbons. I'm now using them for cannon fuses.

You can make many presents pretty now.

I've joined a D&D Adventure League game on Discord... had to redo my character mostly from scratch, but I kept some of the elements...

That's cool! I mean that you found a game, not so much having to redo your character. Wish you lots of fun there ^^
