Ernya was my first avi site, but Wolfrin was like "hey you should join this new site that just opened" and I've been on Tris ever since. ...I tried to go back to Ernya once, but the community there felt kind of off.

Cliques, mostly. I didn’t stick around long enough to get much exposure to the circle jerk.

Tris’s CBT was a couple years, I think? But IDK when Ernya started.

Guess I should enjoy my blissful ignorance of all these defunct avi sites, huh?

Oh right. Another problem I had w Ernya was, a lot of the items were just basically... the same shiny pastel bits and pieces. And everyone was more interested in making clutterfuck shiny pastel avis with zero personality, and it really annoyed me :|

Ernya started in 2009. Trisphee started in 2010(? basing this off the copyright at the footer).
True @ the beginning tho, but that was Ernya's signature aesthetic as much as their mis/matched striped socks+100 belts trend. Their items got more personality later on. One of my fave avis I made there:

100k elephant hat, moist frog legs, dabicorn, but at the same time we have seriously amazing items like child of the forest??? i can't imagine this being possible in the earlier years. we r living life to the fullest here
