I was able to touch some of the candy, so I say it's quite real. Maybe the candy fell out of ghost childrens' pockets, because they can't carry stuff around. But then I have no explanation how they could bring it to the tree house in the first place.

I'm remembering now when a foreign friend sent me snacks but the customs here hates me so they kept the box and when it arrived it was FULL OF ANTS!!!

Anyone who keeps other people's candy is clearly the epitome of evil. Though I admit I would also get mad about customs confiscating my books.

All candy is good candy. Unless it's been past five seconds since it was on the floor.
