One of my biggest frustrations about a MUDD I've been playing lately is that you can't roleplay wearing items that aren't "assigned to your character's gender." I'm probably not going to play it very long.

Huh, that's weird. Someone actually put in the effort to assign a gender to clothes? Haven't ever seen such a superfluous thing in any of the MUDs I play.
(One does assign clothes to a character's race, so a giant needs other stuff than a dwarf - but men can run around in high heels and wear lipstick like Dr Frank N. Furter on a prom date)

It's called DarkGrimoire. A friend talked me into joining it, but it's just not well designed and the mods are really inactive.

No, is it any good? I don't play many MUDs because I really am more interested in roleplaying than the clicking game play part.

Sounds like you should switch from MUD to MUSH then. People there tend to be more active roleplayers. Or is Legend of the Green Dragon still a thing? I used to waste countless nights in RPs there when I was younger.

I tend to gravitate toward roleplay specific sites now.
