I googled and it's more like 5 years. He was 13 at that time, so give or take five more and Elijah Wood would've been almost the age he played Frodo.

Default #34
When Elijah was 18 he looked 12 tho

To be perfectly honest I'd rather see an 18 year old looking like twelve cast as a beautiful innocently appearing teenage prodigy turned blood sucker than what we got ^^
Then again it's by far not the only movie where the actor selection seems odd.

Alright Death By Mirrors I'm Game

Cat pics! My favorite!

The ladies wouldn't be turned on by him though
and the movie needed to appeal to the ladies
Default #39
I don't understand people who watch a movie for the sole reason of being turned on by a particular character therein.

If you like cats your gonna loooove......UNICORNS!

I agree with Mdom. Sex sells. Not to everyone. But it sells.

And here I thought only teenagers catch pokemon. Aren't adults more into poker?

DBM I thought you would be more open minded. That's like thinking only men do manual labor

I am open minded. Breaking gender stereotypes is elementary, my dear Watson.

I'M DYING IN THIS THREAD

maybe it's more subconscious, like looking that a poster with Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise and Antonio Banderas and thinking 'hm, what a great movie that must be' but your primal brain is screaming SPANKBANK
Default #47
Maybe so. I'm more of a logical type person, so HAWT SECKS doesn't make me buy a cinema ticket... but it has to work for the majority on some level, otherwise we wouldn't see so many adverts with erotic innuendo.

Don't worry Mdom, I found a Doctor

Maybe not even sex but romance. Like Interview with a Vampire you get these types that you can play around with in your mind. Do I want a brooding deep emotional guy or aggressive even sadistic bad boy? Or the smooth dapper romancer type.
