Hyperfixation is used for other things, Autism (Something i have) being one of them. I don't think too many people will mind if you use it, at least I personally don't. i don't speak for everyone of course.

Mom's dog had to be put down at the vet office Monday. The house feels too calm and quiet without him and it's super weird.

I want to do a painting in his memory but I am having issues actually doing it. I think I want to do a pour on wood then let it dry then do a reverse stencil over it with either a phrase or a silhouette. But I don't know what phrase to use. And finding a perfect silhouette will be hard.

i could probably purchase a copy of DST for the both of you if i get a steam card or two, depends on whether or not it's on sale.

Sorry for your loss, Damies. A painting in his memory sounds like a wonderful idea. Don't stress yourself if you can't figure out its details or motivate yourself to start right away. I'm sure with some time you will find just the right phrase to remember him by.

I don't think getting the painting perfect is quite as important as the emotions attached to it, but with that said there are a lot of really great quotes about the importance of pets.

My avatar method is overload my screen with everyone in a certain color palette and eventually weedle it down to something presentable

I usually find a particular item I really want to use, and go from there.
