Nah. Shawl is more important. Creative tasks help against stress, and keep your brain fresh. Plus you either have another present then or something nice against winter's chill.

Also, just had to endure my dad stating how today's "gender identities" are caused by moral relativity caused by the acceptance of birth control by the Catholic church. And followed that up with "if your dna says you're a boy, you're a boy. You don't get to just decide you wany to be a girl whenever you feel like it and you don't get to use the girl's bathroom just because you decide you want to be a girl."

But on the plus side, he said he wasn't even going to try to wake me up for church, so that's a positive.

Isn't it ironic how those kinds of people always completely deny the existence of intersex humans? Sometimes your dna says you're a boy, but you still look more like a girl on the outside. Sometimes your dna may not even be sure what you are - a mosaic where one half of cells have XX chromosomes and the others XY. I guess biology is a hard concept to wrap one's head around. *smirk*

He really is. Unfortunately, I don't live far enough away to not have to deal with him.
I envy my sister because she had the brains and courage to move across the country. Of course she was also moving in with her long-term boyfriend at the time and they were living rent-free in his parent's old house, so...like she had a place to live and didn't HAVE to worry about finding a job right away either. If I had those type of conditions, I'd move in a heartbeat.
