I got cool -- but actually too warm to wear in the house -- jammies from my brother, and gave my sister a special edition dvd/blu-ray of her favorite movie, so all in all it went really well. Not bad for not having much to spend on all sides.

In my opinion it's not about the money anyway. Some of my best gifts have been ridiculously cheap. Investing time to think about what each person would enjoy makes it special, not how much you pay for it in store.

*rolls around* i spent yesterday doing dishes and laundry....YAY! :(
