Well I paid off our car tires... probably just in time to get new ones... Also paid some bills and now I have 200 until the 15th when I get paid again.
Which means I don't get to buy crafty stuff for at least the first half of the month. I really want more lumber. ; 0; I was really hoping I would be able to work on the new chicken coop this month. But it looks financially impossible as I will be in much the same position on the 15th as I am now. That is most of my paycheck will be gone to bills and I will need the rest for food and gas money.
In other news my kitten is super smelly, she's got awful kitten toots. But she is so damned cute and snuggly. Also I need to stuff her in my room for a night so I can do a painting in the living room. I haven't done any painting since the 21st and I am craving some artistic shenanigans.
If that's just a general comment, cool, thanks (they really are super cute and huggable!). If you're serious and actually interested in buying one, feel free to pm me. I don't have an online shop at the moment, but can accept payments via paypal.
Hopefully that doesn't come across as bitchy. XD
(And Derpy, stop trying to give away your brother! We need to sell him so we can buy coffee and donuts! Lol)
Started on a step it up boomerang shawl. Personally, I think it should be called a dragon boomerang shawl though, because the edge looks like a dragon spine to me. But maybe that's just because of all the actual dragon spines I've made. Lol
also, whisky's been getting bite-y for some reason? he's never been like this before, and i'm pretty sure it's probably because some parts of his body are sensitive. thing is, if he was doing it because of sensory overload, or whatever the term is, i'm pretty sure it would hurt?
like, his bites don't hurt too much, they don't break the skin either. might just be a habit he's picked up.
Ugh, part of me wants to get up amd iron my fabric and make my space kitties skirt today, but part of me also wants to spend another 3-5 hours sleeping and do nothing. XP
Ugh. Was just starting to mark my fabric when I realized it's not wide enough for me to do the "easy circle skirt" method. Because I'm not stick thin and am modest and don't want a skirt so short you can practically see my crotch. XP
Back to the drawing board on that...
I followed this video (for Derpy's skirt at least). https://youtu.be/oqNU0-ORkbA
There's a little math involved, but she walks you through it pretty well.
Have given up on my skirt for now and am working on a shawl. Even though I have other projects that should take precedence...
