Just make sure you take into account fabric width. If you want your skirt longer than about 18 inches (may vary depending on your actual waist size), you'll need to buy a fabric wider than 43". (60" or 108" depending on exactly how long you want it.)

I need to get my photo storage more organized. Like my random higgldypiggldy folders of images and stuff in weird places.

Aaand as I was typing this my kitten came over an sat on my hand... Shiva is a boy kitten not a girl. lolol (we went by what the person at the feed store said and apparently they were wrong)

Oof, I need to practice making circle skirts myself. :x

2020 may be a difficult year, but I know we can all get through it together.

If only width is the problem and you got enough length, you can probably get away with drawing your circle in two pieces instead. (see here, scroll down to 6b)
It's a bit more sewing, but those are straight lines. So maybe annoying yet still doable.

Or I can do a rectangle skirt as well. In the video I have downloaded, it shows to do a waistband and a zipper and eyehook on it, but I see no reason why just fully sewing the side seam and then doing the elastic waistband wouldn't work.
Tbh I probably have enough cat fabric for at least 2 skirts. XD
But I am lazy and easily discouraged. And need to clear more floor space now for measuring fabric, so...not working on the skirt for a while now.

I really wanna learn how to make clothes, but I psyche myself out so I haven't yet

Did do this yesterday though.
Pretty sure it'll be more of a scarf (or a shawlette) than a shawl when done, but it's still pretty.

The eyes for my Octopus plushie (Frumpkinpus) arrived today, so I was able to get his eyelids on, and I just have to do the tentacles and stuff him.

It is Knit Picks Chroma in the color Party Hat. I'm pretty sure that it's a discontinued color, but it may or may not still be in their clearance yarns page, I haven't checked in a while.

knit picks feels like a dangerous place for me XD

I try hard to not even look at the site. Although, tbh the chroma and chroma twist yarns are about the only ones I have bought a lot of. Most of their really pretty yarns are just too thin for the projects I want them for.
