The power going out sounds like it could have been fun for doing something improvised. But that's probably harder than it might seem.

The day of the presentation the power went out for a couple hours.
One of the guys left to take a shower in his own house, but we were still rehearsing. If it was for me he wouldn't even be in the final act after pulling that BUT they let him go with a warning. Bitch we all wanted to take showers in our houses, but the show must go on.
