Ugh. Mad because I want to make some cool scale and chain mail items, but I don't have rings in the sizes I need and I can't afford to buy any right now...

But I learned how do the full Persian (Persian 6-1) weave yesterday and also learned how to make a heart with it.

I also dabbled with scalemail, but idk how to actually make anything with it yet, so it's just some practice swatches right now.

Thanks! Once I discovered how easy the full persian weave actually was, they're pretty easy to make. Have also made a green heart and am almost done with one that's yellow and pastel pink and blue.
Really want to make some scale flowers, but I don't have one of the ring sizes I need.

so .... the blanket for my younger daughter is done!!

i put the two parts together, so here's two pictures of the same blanket - each half has its show right-side up, but you can see the whole thing.

It looks warm! :] Great job! Though I've only ever seen bits and pieces of Parks & Rec, I've seen all of The Office. *cuddles up in own mermaid tail blanket* ^-^ I'm sure it took a lot of time and effort tho!
