In my humble opinion you don't need a special occasion to dress as an alien.

I'll be watching the TV news coverage and having a few snacks to share. <u<; As an alien myself, I don't think I'd need to dress up in anything silly or outrageous, like pants.

i've seen aliens on tv, they look like us.... didn't they do a tv show or two about that? Roswell? XD

i wear it on my little seasonal witch whenever i work at my retail job (every weekend) :D

Hey Halloween stuff is for sale at the dollar store. So it is a perfect time. No excuses

I'm seeing a bunch of Christmas stuff at the dollar and craft stores, too. Whenever I see that, I always say, "IT'S AUGUST, YOU ANIMALS" and then my mom gently reminds me that people get started on their Christmas crafts months in advance so they can sell them at Christmastime.

And then I also realize I'm doing the exact same thing with Halloween.

i'm sorry i just hate summer and always look forward to autumn

let xmas folks enjoy xmas and halloween folks enjoy halloween

Hey, that's beautiful

so here's the thing, as i work at a big box craft store. if someone does the craft show circuit, customers are going to want halloween stuff FOR halloween, which means crafters have to make it in august. customers are going to want xmas stuff FOR xmas, so crafters have to make that in august too.

and at my craft store, we do already have xmas ribbon. i hate it, but there it is.
