Try scarves that are weighted or have a ball at one end. Easier to start out with.

Adding the scarves make the balls travel slower -- and easier to track.

Lessens the aerodynamic...-ness. AIR RESISTANCE, that's the word.

obviously you'd get max air resistance if you used just the scarves, but because they're so susceptible to fluid dynamic fuckery, you end up getting really unpredictable trajectories.

We always had a sort of mini lesson on it in grade school gym class, but only used normal scarves and balls and I didn't really have the hand-eye coordination to handle more than 2. Lol
