My screen protector is cracked. It served it's purpose so I'm glad it was there. And it wasn't the first one.

i do not have a screen protector, but i should invest in one.

My first phone was a Nokia that liked to jump out of my pocket onto concrete often. it survived wonderfully, and had dents and scrapes on the outside. I miss that little flip phone.

My first phone was so big I rarely ever took it with me, but at the same time amazingly sturdy and a master of the concrete dance.

the benefit of having a detachable back is that you can take your battery out and slot it back in. :0

also, my sister's phone is completely fucked. i think it's an iphone 8? it's stuck on the apple logo. :(

I'm still using my first phone, the case has helped quite a bit.

ngl, main reason I miss my first phone is because I could program ringtones note by note, and I had figured out how to change keys and get sharps and flats, and with sheet music, I was able to have a LOT of custom ringtones.

more clarification, forcing a restart does nothing. she has tried the volume up, volume down, then power button method of restarting. it doesn't work.

the only thing that worked was hooking the phone up to a laptop + downloading an update file via there, but it went back to just displaying the apple logo again.

ooh, that's a really neat feature. i sort of wish they had that in the newer phones, y'know, without having to jailbreak them.

She might be fucked and have to get a new phone.

I kind of miss the era of ringtones and hearing what people liked.
