My favorite non-gendered term for sugar parents is Glucose guardians.

You would be surprised what would become popular enough for people to pay for. I mean look at some of the weird stuff that has become huge. Welcome to Night Vale, A Very Potter Musical (and subsequently all of Team Starkid's other fantastic stuff) and a massive handful of indie games for example. Just start putting up stuff, eventually your content may become the next quirky cult classic.
