we've got two cats and a dog. we used to have a single cat and a dog, then in 2008 the first cat died, then we got Cisco, then in 2012 the dog died, and a few years later, in 2015, Lucy walked into our lives, and then a year later, we got Maxwell. so I can't really remember a time when we didn't have an animal of some kind in the house.

I use They/Them pronouns.
