That was a LONG time ago.

I never really got senioritis, though. I played along with it, fitting in with my peers and sharing in their experience, but I didn't feel those nerves for myself.

The sudden social change in not being a student anymore and having to leave behind the routine I'd known for my whole life... that hit quite a bit harder.

i think the issue is less the numbers and more that persons under 24 are still physically developing into adults proper and are also often seen as developing economically XD the younger you go the more pronounced a gap of 10 year is, you know? also if one set is pitched as ok and the other isn't then duller individuals will just accept the pitch as correct
